EDMONTON — Edmonton police are searching for a suspect after a woman was sexually assaulted while walking on the High Level Bridge in June.
The incident happened at around 12:30 a.m. Friday, June 12.
A 28-year-old woman told police she was walking north on the sidewalk when she passed a man who was walking south. After a short verbal exchange, police said the man reportedly sexually assaulted the woman then ran off.

The suspect is described as an aboriginal man in his early to mid 20s, about 5’10” tall and 155 pounds. He has a thin build, dark skin and short, dark, straight hair. Police said he was wearing rectangular-framed glasses and a T-shirt.
