More changes coming to The Forks area

WINNIPEG – Manitobans gathered at The Forks to discuss the future of their city Saturday.

A series of photo boards featuring different ideas for the Railside and Parcel Four lands were featured inside Center Court for the public.

The plan is to extend The Forks area to the parking lots across from the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and the gravel lot north on York Avenue in the next 20 years.

The Forks Market is currently in the middle of a major facelift with $2.5 million in renovations underway.
