Many Montrealers got the chance to do just that on Saturday as “Slide the City” made a stop at the Big O, as part of its North American tour.

The slide is more than 300 metres long, or the length of three football fields.

There was plenty of music and refreshments for the hundreds waiting in line for their turn to slip-and-slide their way from Parc Maisonneuve all the way down to the Olympic Park.

Volunteer Lyne Champagne told Global News, that she had so much fun working and sliding that she was sure to be back next year.
