Boundaries: The more urban of Windsor’s two ridings, this district includes all of Windsor west of Pilette Road, with the exception of north of Tecumseh Road, where Langlois becomes the dividing line.
Last Election: Masse defeated Conservative candidate Lisa Lumley by 22.7 per cent.
History: Windsor West has only had two MPs in the last 53 years: Masse since 2002, and the late Herb Gray, who held Windsor West (and prior to that, Essex West) for the Liberals from 1962 to 2002.
Demographics: The median income is just $23,812, ninth lowest in Ontario.
