Summary: This is a new riding for 2015. This area has been represented since 2004 by Conservative MP and Employment Minister Pierre Poilievre, but he is now running in the new riding of Carleton, so voters here will send a new member to Parliament.
Boundaries: This was formerly part of the Nepean-Carleton riding. Nepean is a much smaller riding now, consisting mainly of suburban areas, with the former riding’s rural areas moving into the new riding of Carleton.
Last Election: If this riding had existed in 2011, the Conservatives would have earned 51.0 per cent of the vote, followed by the Liberals with 27.1 per cent.
