Summary: NDP MP Jonathan Tremblay won this seat by just 1,200 votes in 2011, but boundary redistribution brings more voters into this riding who voted NDP last time around. He faces a well-known Conservative opponent in this election, Sylvie Boucher, who was the MP for Beauport-Limoilou from 2006-2011.
Boundaries: This is one of six Quebec City ridings, but it also includes a large rural area to the east of Quebec City. It is a modified version of the former Montmorency-Charlevoix-Haute-Cote-Nord riding. It includes most of the Quebec City borough of Beauport.
