Highway 3 near Keremeos open to traffic

UPDATE-Highway 3 west of Keremeos is now open to single lane, alternating traffic.

KEREMEOS–A grass fire shut down Highway 3, about 8 kilometres west of Keremeos for several hours on Saturday.

The B.C. Wildfire Service said had one crew on scene, assisting the Keremeos Fire Department.

A witness to the fire says a mobile home was destroyed in the blaze.

The fire spanned about 1.5 hectares.
