Police charge man with breaking into Saskatoon construction site

A 28-year-old Saskatoon man is facing charges following a break and enter at a construction site overnight in the Lakewood SC neighbourhood. File / Global News

SASKATOON – Police have laid charges after a suspicious man was seen entering a construction site Tuesday in Saskatoon’s Lakewood SC neighbourhood. Around 11:30 p.m., officers were called to the 300-block of Slimmon Place.

When they arrived, the suspect fled on foot. A police dog helped track down the suspect a short distance away.

The 28-year-old man is facing a charge of break and enter and three counts of breach of an undertaking.

He is expected to appear in provincial court Wednesday.
