TORONTO — A 53-year-old Oshawa man faces a first-degree murder charger in connection with the death of his father.
Durham Regional Police were called to a residence on Carnaby Crescent in Oshawa on Monday.
Police said an altercation between a father and son who lived together at the residence resulted in stab wounds to the 76-year-old father.

Officers discovered Walter Sollows inside of the house with no vital signs and immediately began CPR.
Sollows was rushed to Lakeridge Health hospital in Oshawa, where he was pronounced dead.
Police charged Clyde Sollows, of Oshawa, with first degree murder and he was held pending a bail hearing.
This is the second homicide of 2015 in Durham Region and investigators remain on scene to collect evidence.
