The Goldeyes wore bacon-themed jerseys in their 4-1 win over the Amarillo Thunderheads at Shaw Park to help kick off Manitoba Pork’s bacon month. The uniforms will be auctioned off at a later date with proceeds going to the Goldeyes’ Field of Dreams Foundation.

Manitoba Pork designated August Bacon Month last summer. Winnipeg is home to largest bacon-processing facility in Canada.
