Police investigate possible discovery of human remains in Nova Scotia school

NEW GLASGOW, N.S. – Police in Nova Scotia say work crews may have discovered human remains in an old school in New Glasgow.

They say construction workers were demolishing the former Temperance Street School when they came upon possible human remains inside the school.

They say the crew called police at about 4:50 p.m. Wednesday.

The New Glasgow police major crimes unit and forensic unit have secured the scene and are investigating.
