Defencsive back/kick returner Tristan Jackson re-signs with Roughriders

REGINA – Tristan Jackson is off the free agency market after re-signing with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Saskatchewan announced a deal Friday with the defensive back/kick returner, who joined the Riders last season in a trade with the Edmonton Eskimos.

The 25-year-old started in all 18 games for the Riders last year and tallied 71 defensive tackles, five pass knockdowns, two forced fumbles and one interception.

He added 57 punt returns for 448 yards and 23 kick-off returns for 550 yards.

The Central Arkansas product joined the CFL in 2008 and played for the Eskimos for three seasons.
