New footage shows an incredible rescue of a woman by first responders and citizens.

Surveillance video from a nearby business in Dallas, Texas on July 9 appears to show a man in a Nissan Altima attempt to turn right into a parking lot from the left lane – forcing a woman on a motorcycle in the right lane to slam into the side of the vehicle.

The car continued to move forward, rolling over the motorcycle in the process and pinning the woman under the car.

Three officers from the Dallas Police Department were the first to respond to the emergency.

A jack was first used to try to lift the vehicle but failed. According to police, the trapped woman was gasping for air, so police officers, fire fighters and bystanders all joined together to lift the car with their bare hands.

That allowed Officer Beddow to pull the woman out to safety.

“Once we saw the big guys show up, we were like, ‘I think there’s enough of us to lift up the car, so we made the decision to lift it instead of waiting,” added Beddow.

The woman was taken to Baylor Hospital with serious injuries and has since been released. Her attorney offered thanks to all who helped.

“My client is grateful and thankful for the excellent service provided by the Dallas police officers and firefighters that saved her life. She is grateful and thankful to the bystanders that helped lift the car and the excellent medical care she received at Baylor,” attorney Tim Bates told CBS-11.

The driver of the car was deemed at fault and cited for driving without a license.
