Richmond RCMP are looking for a man suspected of sexual assault.
Just before 11:30 p.m. on Monday, officers responded to the area of No. 3 Rd and Bennett Rd after reports of a young woman being sexually assaulted.
The woman was walking alone when she was allegedly grabbed from behind by the suspect.
She fought back and was thrown to the ground. The woman’s screams drew the attention of two Good Samaritans who helped her.

The LMD Integrated Police Dog Services Unit was called in to assist in a search of the area for the suspect, but he could not be found.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, 6’2″ (188 cm) or taller, over 40 years of age, with a stocky build and short white/grey hair with receding hair line.
He was clean shaven with a round long face, possibly blue eyes and white/grey eyebrows.
The suspect walks with a hunched posture and bit of a “penguin-like” gait.
He was wearing a baggy black T-shirt, baggy black pants and spoke fluent English.
