Local pubs use ‘pub pass’ to help wildfire relief

REGINA – A group of local pubs will be coming together to help raise money for Saskatchewan wildfire relief.

A total of 11 watering holes have created a weekend pub pass; $20 will provide buyers exclusive deals at each of the pubs from July 23-25.

Some of the venues will have live entertainment and prizes to give away.

“I think the booklets are great, and the deals are great. We’re going to have a good time,” said Tim Rogers, co-owner of the Lancaster Taphouse. “But the bottom line is putting money into a great cause and to people that could use it.”

All money raised from sales of the books will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross.
