On Sunday night, residents in and around Kamloops were treated to a lightning storm passing through the region.
We asked our viewers to send us photos of the storm and we have featured a few below.
Lightning can start wildfires however. There are now 209 wildfires burning in B.C. and of the 16 that started on Sunday, almost all were lightning-caused.
Sixty fires have started on Monday and the majority of those are lightning caused.
There have been 1,197 fires so far this season and more than 2,000 firefighters are on the front lines.
