REGINA – The Canadian Country Music Association released its nominations for this year’s award show, and Langenburg, Saskatchewan native Jess Moskaluke received three.
She is nominated for album of the year for Light Up The Night, and single of the year for Cheap Wine and Cigarettes.
She was also nominated for female artist of the year, an award she won at last year’s event.
Despite being nominated previously, and even winning an award, she was still blown away.
“It’s just so surreal to be nominated among people that you respect and have looked up to for years, in the case of Beverly Mahood and Terri Clark,” said Moskaluke, calling from London Ontario where she will be performing. “It’s just such a very very cool feeling”
The awards take place in Halifax, Nova Scotia on Sept. 13.
