B.C. Forestry Service called out to fire in central Okanagan

UPDATE: A small fire that broke out off of Postill Lake Forestry Service Road near the Kelowna Airport has been put out.  The Ellison Volunteer Fire Department was quick to jump on the blaze that measured around 10 metres by 25 metres.  The B.C. Forestry Service also responded with three initial attack crews , two of them in the air, one on the ground.  The fire started next to the highly traveled road.  With no lightning in the area at the time, it looks like the fire was human-caused.  Crews will continue monitoring the area to ensure hot spots don’t flare up.
