Suspects sought in armed robbery at Hinton hotel

CALGARY – RCMP are searching for suspects involved in an armed robbery at a Hinton hotel.

It happened at the Twin Pines Hotel around 2:30 a.m. on Monday.

Investigators say two masked men entered the building through back doors, threatening staff with a firearm.

Staff members were tied up by the thieves, who then stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

RCMP describe the first suspect as 5’11” to 6” feet tall with a stocky build.

The second suspect is described as 5’9” to 5’10” tall with a slim build.

Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP in Hinton or Crime Stoppers.
