WINNIPEG – Police rushed to a south Winnipeg neighbourhood Friday after 911 calls about a man with a gun.

Police were seen placing a man in a police car at the back of the parking lot of St. Vital Villa on Beliveau Road at about 8:45 a.m.
A Winnipeg police spokeswoman said police received report of a man with a firearm – which turned out to be a replica gun.
Officers were expected to have more information later Friday.
