Gin Basil Smash
2-3 cherry tomatoes halves
3-4 leaves of basil
1-2 tsps raw cane sugar
Muddle together
Add half a squeeze of lemon
Add 2oz gin (ideally local- we used Gillespie’s Sin Gin), ice, soda, stir, garnish with a sprig of basil.
Gin and tonic
2 oz locally-made gin
Your choice of tonic or tonic syrup and soda
Add: fresh herbs, mango, berries, herbs, cucumber, etc.
Or real game changers: a dash of liquid smoke, absinthe or balsamic vinegar
