VANCOUVER – One person was taken into custody on Thursday after a dramatic scene in Vancouver’s Chinatown.
Police, with guns drawn, responded to a robbery yesterday at the Ultimate 24K Gold Company, located on Main Street near Keefer Street.

The public was held back as staff and a number of customers were removed from the store. A short time later a man exited the building and surrendered to Vancouver Police officers.
It is believed the suspect is known to police.
