KELOWNA – Fortis B.C. is investigating a large power outage in Kelowna. Power went out late Wednesday morning for some 15,000 customers in many parts of the city.

The outage was widespread affecting people and businesses from Rutland all the way to the downtown core.
The cause is still under investigation.
While some customers have now had power restored, many are still waiting for the lights to come back on.
