Huge crowd expected for Shania Twain concert in Saskatoon

SASKATOON – Shania Twain’s “Rock This Country” concert will have a capacity crowd of over 13,000 in attendance at Saskatoon’s SaskTel Centre Sunday. This is her first North American tour in more than a decade.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show is expected to start at 7:30 p.m. with fellow Canadian musician Wes Mack warming up the massive crowd.

SaskTel Centre is asking motorists to come early and follow the directions of parking attendants for faster and safer commutes.

Car pooling with friends is recommended to save drivers gas and cut down on traffic.

Shuttle buses are also available at a $5 round-trip fee from the following locations:

  • Lawson Heights Mall
  • The Centre Mall
  • Market Mall
  • Confederation Mall
  • Downtown bus mall (regular fares apply)

Buses start their service at 5:45 p.m. with continuous service every 15 minutes until 7:45 p.m. Special needs transportation is available through regular booking procedures.

Above all, officials are reminding attendees not to drink and drive.

The next stop for Twain is Winnipeg’s MTS Centre on Monday.
