Burgers and fresh air go great together. I was pretty happy to get a nice seat on the patio at the Freehouse with some visiting friends. I haven’t yet had a tremendous experience with burgers named after their respective restaurants, but lo and behold, the Freehouse Burger is a thing, and I had to try it.

That, my friends, is burger meat, mixed with chorizo sausage. And it’s amazing. It’s the scotch of meat. Seriously, the only major flaw I found in this burger was that there wasn’t a second patty. It wasn’t a saucy ordeal, either.
Whether that’s a plus or a minus is reader’s discretion. This meat needs no sauce. The cheese cheesed, the lettuce lettuced, and the bun was about its business. This is a burger that knows what it’s good at and sticks to its guns, and then doesn’t try to outdo itself with extra accoutrements.
I highly recommend this burger. It’s one I totally plan to go back to. Happy to have something definitive as a front runner!
