MARKHAM, Ont. – Police in York Region are seeking the public’s help in apprehending thieves who made off with nearly 91,000 kilograms of copper wire.
Police say the wire was taken sometime between last Saturday and Monday from a business in Markham.

Investigators say the thieves broke into the building and made off with the wire and a pump-action forklift.
Police say the wire is worth about $800,000 and ask anyone who knows where it is to give them a call.
