Teens arrested after gun complaint on Saskatoon’s west side

SASKATOON – Two teen boys have been arrested after a gun complaint in Saskatoon Tuesday morning. Police were initially called to the intersection of 18th Street West and Avenue F South for reports of three men armed with what appeared to be two guns.

Police were told they had exited a Dodge truck.

Responding officers located the truck, which had been reported stolen from Martensville.

A canine track led officers to a residence in the 400-block of Avenue H South where the teens were taken into custody and an imitation firearm was recovered.

The teens, 14 and 16, are facing possession of stolen property over $5,000 charges.

Police continue to investigate.
