TORONTO – A male on a scooter was struck by a car driving westbound on Lakeshore Boulevard near Kipling Avenue in Etobicoke early this morning.

Toronto EMS says the pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital around 3 a.m.
The male driver of the vehicle was arrested and charged with impaired driving, according to Toronto police.
