Inmate unlawfully at large caught by Saskatchewan RCMP

SASKATOON – The search for an escaped inmate in Saskatchewan is over. Talion Dillon, 22, was apprehended by the Onion Lake detachment of the RCMP on May 23.

He had been unlawfully at large from the Willow Cree Healing Lodge at Duck Lake, Sask.

On May 15, Correctional Service Canada (CSC) announced Dillon had failed to return to the minimum security facility following an authorized temporary absence.

Dillon is currently serving a 30-month sentence for driving over .08, fleeing from police and driving while disqualified.

CSC has launched an investigation to look into the incident.
