CALGARY – A woman who was reported missing in the area around Lake Chaparral was located by police on Monday afternoon.
Police received a call around 5:30 p.m. Sunday, saying the woman was last seen in the area around the lake.

The investigation focused on an area about 400 metres around the lake on Monday morning. Police tweeted the update that she was “safe and well” at 1:24 p.m.
Lake Chaparral is located in the city’s southeast near Macleod Trail and Stoney Trail S.E.
