MONTREAL – The search continues Saturday morning for a missing Mauricie woman.
The 69-year-old woman disappeared along with her husband from the small community of Saint-Stanislas, 180 km north east of Montreal, on Monday.
Marcel Pronovost, 76, and his wife Jacqueline Melançon were last seen together in a local business at lunch time.
Tips from the public allowed Sûreté du Québec (SQ) officers to find tracks from the couple’s car, that led to the river in front of their home.

On Friday night, SQ divers recovered the couple’s missing Chevrolet Cavalier from the river.
Marcel Pronovost’s body was discovered inside the car.
