Police seek man wearing Spiderman mask who attacked teen with skateboard

TORONTO — Toronto police are searching for a man who attacked a teen while wearing a Spiderman mask on top of his head.

Just before midnight on Saturday, May 2, a 16-year-old male was assaulted in an unprovoked attack.

It happened in the area of Dundas Street West and Augusta Avenue. Police said the teen was assaulted with a skateboard the attacker was carrying. The teen sustained minor injuries.

The attacker was described as black, in his mid-20s, 5’10” tall with a medium build. He had short black hair, brown eyes and was unshaven. He was wearing a long sleeve shirt and black jeans, carrying a skateboard with a Spiderman mask on his head.

Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
