SASKATOON – A man is scheduled to appear in court after a drug bust in Saskatoon. The bust happened Wednesday in Nutana.

Officers first spotted the man in a rental vehicle near a shopping mall on Preston Avenue. Police say his activities were suspicious and consistent with a drug transaction.

He was later pulled over at Broadway Avenue and Main Street.

Police say a search of the vehicle turned up half-a-gram of cocaine, $750 and three cell phones.

The 26-year-old man, whose name has not been released, is facing a charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
