Okanagan road rage incident involved handgun

A motorist allegedly pulled a handgun in what seems to be a fit of road rage near Kelowna Monday night.

RCMP say a 45-year-old Lake Country man and a 72-year-old woman in a Pontiac Sunfire reported being tailgated by a Porsche Cayenne SUV while driving northbound on Glenmore Road.

The Lake Country man says the Porsche driver honked and flashed high beams until finally stopping alongside his car at the red light at Highway 97.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his early 30’s with a muscular build, last seen wearing faded jeans, tight black t-shirt with silver emblem on front. His passenger is described as a clean-cut man.
