It has been a tragic weekend on Saskatchewan roads. Police say seven people were killed in four separate crashes and three others are in hospital, one in critical condition.
Three teens, all from Carrot River, Sask. were killed after a four-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon at a Highway 6 construction zone south of Spalding.
Police say the car the teens were in was hit from behind by a semi. The force of the collision pushed the car into a pickup, which then struck a flag person before slamming into another vehicle.

The flag person was taken by STARS to a Saskatoon hospital in critical condition.

Near Estevan, two people were killed in a fiery head-on crash on Highway 18 Sunday morning.
Mounties say an eastbound vehicle on Highway 18 entered the westbound lane and hit a semi. The vehicle then burst into flames.

Also on Sunday morning, 16-year-old girl was killed after a truck rolled on grid road 738 north of Swift Current.
Two other teens in the truck were transported by STARS to a Saskatoon hospital with serious injuries.

On Saturday, a 20-year-old man was killed after being thrown from a vehicle that rolled on the Okanese First Nation. Two other people were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police say alcohol may have been a factor.
