SWIFT CURRENT – One teen is dead and two others are in serious condition after a rollover in western Saskatchewan. It happened Sunday morning north of Swift Current.
Mounties say the driver of a 2006 Nissan Titan travelling westbound on grid road 738, 15 kilometres west of Highway 4, lost control on a straight stretch of the gravel road and entered the south ditch. The truck rolled several times before coming to a rest.
A passenger in the truck, a 15-year-old girl, was declared dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.
The driver, a 16-year-old girl, was extracted from the truck and flown by STARS to a Saskatoon hospital with serious injuries.
A third teen, an 18-year-old woman, was taken by ambulance to Swift Current and later transported by STARS to a Saskatoon hospital with serious injuries.

The cause of the fatal rollover remains under investigation.
