TORONTO – The Toronto Transit Commission is giving members of the media a tour today of the Spadina subway extension.
The project is currently $150 million over budget and at least two years behind schedule.
In March, city council voted to fork over $90 million to cover a portion of the cost while York Region is expected to pick up the remaining $60 million.
The TTC’s new goal is to have the Spadina subway extension up and running by 2017.
