Alberta Election 2015: NDP’s Bruce Hinkley wins Wetaskiwin-Camrose

NDP candidate and retired school principal Bruce Hinkley has taken over the seat in Camrose-Wetaskiwin from PC minister Verlyn Olson.

This riding includes Wetaskiwin, Carmose, Millet, and the rural areas between Leduc and Maskwacis. The area has been held by the PCs since 1971

If Olson had won, it would have been his third term in Wetaskiwin-Camrose. He was also facing off against small businessman Bill Rock.
