Alberta Election 2015: NDP’s Marg McCuaig-Boyd wins Dunvegan-Central Peace-Notley

The NDP’s Marg McCuaig-Boyd has won the riding of Dunvegan-Central Peace-Notley.

McCuaig-Boyd won in a fairly tight three-way race. She received 39 per cent of the vote. Wildrose candidate Kelly Hudson won 33 per cent and PC candidate Rhonda Clarke-Gauthier won 29 per cent.

Dunvegan-Central Peace-Notley is a riding in northern Alberta.

In 2012, the Wildrose’s Kelly Hudson came within about 200 votes of beating former PC cabinet minister Hector Goudreau. Gourdreau decided not to run this election, though Hudson gave it another try.

  • Progressive Conservatives – Rhonda Clarke Gauthier (incumbent)
  • NDP – Marg McCuaig-Boyd
  • Wildrose – Kelly Hudson
