Alberta Election 2015: Wildrose’s Tany Yao wins Fort McMurray-Wood Buffalo

Wildrose candidate Tany Yao has won the seat in Fort McMurray-Wood Buffalo, ousting incumbent Mike Allen.

In 2013, the Tory Allen was charged in a prostitution sting in Minnesota. He resigned from the PC caucus at the time. Allen pleaded guilty to a misdemeanour for trying to hire two prostitutes. Allen was accepted back into the PC caucus in 2014.

Fort McMurray-Wood Buffalo is a riding in Northern Alberta. The riding was split into two due to the population growth.
