SASKATOON – The “Vinessa Currie Foster tragedy fund” on gofundme.ca has raised over $17,000 so far. The funds generated by the crowdfunding website are going directly to the victim’s husband, four-year-old twin boys and seven-week-old daughter.
The money raised will also help pay for Vinessa’s funeral.
She was killed in a two vehicle crash on Highway 16 east of Fielding, Sask. on April 24.

Friends describe her as a kind, loving person who put her family first and was a true giver.
“Just paying for formula when you haven’t had to pay for formula before is going to cost him (Vinessa’s husband) a lot of money, he’s going to have to dedicate more of his time to being with these three kids and we just know how much kids cost,” said family friend Janna Dutton.
