SASKATOON – A 35-year-old woman is dead after a two vehicle crash one kilometre east of Fielding, Sask. on Friday. At around 11 p.m., Mounties responded to a call of a van that collided with the back of a transport truck on Highway 16.
A 35-year-old female passenger in the van was taken by ambulance to hospital in North Battleford where she died as a result of her injuries, according to RCMP.
The victim’s name has not been released at this time.
No other injuries were reported.
Fielding is approximately 80 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon.
