Major west side power outage in Saskatoon

SASKATOON – A major power outage impacted Saskatoon’s west side, according to the city’s twitter feed. At least 18 neighbourhoods experienced service disruption Saturday.

Saskatoon’s Twitter page says there is an issue with the city power supply for seven city power sub-stations, affecting west side neighbourhoods within Circle Drive.

The city’s website is currently offline and service alerts are not available due to the outage.

Repair crews are working to restore power for customers. The time needed for repairs is unknown.

SaskPower says the power outage is serviced by Saskatoon city electric and they can be contacted at 306-975-2621.
