TORONTO – One person has been taken into custody at the scene of a suspected hostage-taking in Chicago on Friday.
Police were called to a home in a northwest Chicago suburb after reports of a man holding two people against their will shortly after 10 a.m., according to local media reports.
An armed male was reportedly holding two people hostage.

Police put a man wearing handcuffs into the back of a police car shortly after 3 p.m. according to an ABC News reporter at the scene.
