LANGHAM, Sask. – Firefighters from six departments battled overnight to bring a grass fire under control. The fire started Wednesday afternoon near Borden, Sask.
Officials say volunteers with large equipment are assisting crews.
Pictures posted by Dalmeny Fire and Rescue show the extent of the blaze. Viewers also sent in photos.
Crews may get some relief as rain is in the forecast for the area Thursday morning.
Firefighters were also battling a grass fire east of Biggar on Wednesday that forced the temporary closure of Highway 14.
