Below are some swimsuit trends and tips for varying body sizes:

– For fuller figure women, vintage bathing suits are de rigeur. If you aren’t comfortable with your upper half, find a shirt that looks like a tank top that oozes casual and comfort beachside.

– Retro styles are also making a splashy come back especially bikinis with a higher waist band – similar to jean styles – which can help conceal unwanted parts.

– For women with broad shoulders and an athletic body, crochet bikinis may work as it adds curve and figure. However a caveat: Due to the material, it’s not always very structured.

– For a pear-shaped body: Don’t go for anything that resembles a masculine cut. This will shorten your height. Wearing ruffled bikini tops or something bold around the shoulders will pull viewer’s attention up.

– Also skimpy doesn’t necessarily mean seductive.

– And lastly, be comfortable with what you’re wearing and have fun.
