“The NDP have been shut out of Calgary since 1989, but they recruited Mr. Ceci and have devoted significant time and resources in Calgary-Fort,” explains Vice-President of Mainstreet Technologies David Valentin.

“Mr. Ceci is a well-known commodity in his community,” explains Valentin. “This will certainly be a race to watch on Election night.”

“I think we have to take the NDP surge seriously,” suggests political annalist David Taras. “The political centre seems to be coming in behind the new democrats.”

Mainstreet Technologies released the poll as part of an assessment of the races in six key electoral districts.

According to Mainstreet Technologies, the poll carries a margin of error of +/- 4.89, 19 times out of 20.
