RCMP scour ex-husband’s acreage in wake of Sherwood Park mom’s death

WATCH ABOVE: There was a heavy RCMP presence on a rural property east of Sherwood Park Sunday; officers confirm it’s in connection with Paula Stiles’ homicide.

EDMONTON – RCMP investigating the homicide of a Sherwood Park woman are scouring a rural property she formerly shared with her ex-husband.

The Strathcona County acreage belongs to Ken Haeberle, ex-husband of Paula Stiles. The 44-year-old mother of three was found dead in her Foxhaven-area home last Wednesday afternoon.

Officers could be seen combing through the property on Sunday. RCMP have been tight-lipped on the investigation, saying only that the search is connected.

An autopsy has confirmed Stiles’ death is a homicide, but RCMP said Thursday the cause of her death would not be released.
