REGINA – Fire crews were kept busy battling a house fire on Robinson Street near McCallum Avenue, Friday evening.
Just after 8:00 p.m., a neighbour called 911 saying a house was on fire. By the time crews arrived, the home had extensive damage, with the living-room bearing the brunt of it.
One person was home at the time. Deputy Fire Chief Gerard Kay said the resident was trying to put out the fire himself but to no avail.
