Underage driver charged in North Battleford, Sask. hit and run

NORTH BATTLEFORD, Sask. – Two children were injured and an underage driver is facing charges after a hit and run in North Battleford, Sask. It happened late Monday afternoon at the intersection of 15th Avenue and 110th Street.

Mounties say a vehicle ran a stop sign and struck another vehicle before fleeing the scene. Two young children in the second vehicle were treated for minor injuries.

The investigation led police to a 14-year-old youth who is facing a number of charges including failing to remain at the scene of an accident.
